The latest version of NAPCON software has now been released. It will continue NAPCON’s focus on supporting the fight against climate change with real-time optimization solutions. NAPCON’s state-of-the-art digital solutions for the process industry help our customers gather information efficiently on the process challenges of new raw materials and the circular economy.
The pressures for change in the structures and practices of competence development are growing. The new process combinations challenge the skills of the operating personnel to a whole new level, to which NAPCON’s tools bring new light and relief.

NAPCON REAL-TIME DIGITALIZATION HIGH-LIGHTS
NAPCON Understand highlights for the new release are performance related improvements. These improvements are aimed for cases where data heavy operations are done with NAPCON Informer or when working with a data rich dashboard with NAPCON Analytics. These improvements are now available with history pre-aggregation in NAPCON Informer and data pre-calculation in NAPCON Analytics.
In the NAPCON Improve product category the main improvement topic is the total renewal of the process model identification tool, NAPCON Modeller. This important engineering tool simplifies and streamlines the configuration workflow for the Advanced Process Control (APC) solution.
The actual online advanced process control software, the NAPCON Controller algorithm, has received improvements in its mathematical subroutines to enhance the performance of computations. Minor improvements have been made to several other pieces of configuration and online software in order to develop the usability and reliability.
NAPCON COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT HIGH-LIGHTS
NAPCON Train improvements are focused on extended availability including remote connectivity to our competence development solutions. NAPCON Cloud OTS (operator training simulator) is production ready and available directly with NAPCON Generic OTS installation. Simulator health-check dashboards enable efficient and immediate real-time maintenance of the operator training simulators location independently, anywhere in the world, providing our customer with higher Quality of Service.
Customizing a bespoke simulator installation is now streamlined with machine learning powered NAPCON Display Studio allowing rapid creation of operator user interface displays for new and existing simulators.
Checkpoint and backtrack features within the NAPCON Simulator provides an additional tool for training scenarios, allowing returning to a specified point of time in the exercise.
